System Navigation

Understanding and navigating the available services and resources for mental health and substance use can be challenging. There is a lot to know and things are constantly changing. That’s where we come in!

We help youth and their families navigate mental health and substance use resources and networks in Perth and Huron counties. We know what services are available so you don’t have to do the research yourself. The Navigator walks alongside each client through their mental health and substance use journey until they no longer require it, or they move on to another service provider.

The Navigator:

Provides information on services and treatment options
Checks in with clients as frequently as requested
Empowers clients through their recovery process
Shares information on services so clients know what to expect
Provide counselling options and payment information

Learn about support and services available to you and let us know how you would like to proceed. This may look like counselling, peer support, self-guided activities, or referral to other local service providers. The Navigator will support you and identify what resources may work best for you - and if something doesn’t work, no worries! We will try something else until we find what works for you.

Speak with our Intake Coordinator and Navigator and tell them about your unique situation.

Receive ongoing support. Something not working for you? Unsure how to access a specific service? Have questions about service wait times? Our Navigator will reach out as frequently or infrequently as you would like to ensure that you have what you need.
